A Columbus area technical college will open a nursing school in Fairborn. Hondros College, which has its main campus in Westerville, is expanding its nursing program to its Fairborn campus at 1810 Successful Way this April.

Both the Ohio Board of Nursing and the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools approved the nursing program's expansion Jan. 17.

The program prepares students with no nursing experience for the licensed practical nurse exam in four quarters, or 44 weeks, including clinical experience at hospitals and nursing homes.
