Haishu District, in downtown of Ningbo, is the center of Ningbo's politics, economics and culture. Technical college to open local nursing school
A Columbus area technical college will open a nursing school in Fairborn. Hondros College, which has its main campus in Westerville, is expanding its nursing program to its Fairborn campus at 1810 Successful Way this April.

Both the Ohio Board of Nursing and the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools approved the nursing program's expansion Jan. 17.
The program prepares students with no nursing experience for the licensed practical nurse exam in four quarters, or 44 weeks, including clinical experience at hospitals and nursing homes. Students can work as LPNs or continue toward associate's degrees at Hondros in preparation for taking the state licensing exam to become registered nurses or as a step toward getting bachelor's degrees at partner schools.|
Three people were taken to area medical centers after their Scranton nursing home caught fire Tuesday afternoon. The 84 patients and 48 staffers at Lake City-Scranton HealthCare Center on Boyd Street evacuated around 1:30 p.m. because of fire in one of the residents' rooms, officials said. South Lynches Fire Department was dispatched at 1:27 p.m. and the first unit to arrive reported heavy smoke showing. "The fire was quickly brought under control and confined to one room," South Lynches Fire Chief Sam Brockington said. "As a part of our initial response we notified EMS to send a supervisor and additional units for patients' triage, treatment and transport," he added. Brockington credited the facility staff, first responders and all who assisted in the evacuation with helping avert disaster.
